What it lets you reach
The dex lists no traversal ability for Helmut — it does not open new ground.
Movement: Detection Gives you a special detective vision that allows you to see metal objects and cloaked Aniimo nearby. That is a speed buff rather than traversal — it does not get you anywhere you could not already go.
