Irisalis build: Dance Power, EP, stats and teammates

At 24 Dance Power stacks, Irisalis's next skill costs no EP and a free Focus Beam reaches further. Here is how to stack it, what to awaken, and who to bring.

The short version

  1. Irisal gains 1 Dance Power each time one of its skills deals damage. A skill that hits several targets still gives only one point.
  2. At 24 Dance Power the next skill costs no EP, and a zero-cost Focus Beam cast at 24 stacks gets a longer attack range.
  3. Each volley from an Irisalis (Bloom Cluster) clone grants one Dance Power, so her clones help you stack.
  4. Awaken Attack first, then Regen, then HP. Regen matters because her playstyle repeatedly spams one skill.
  5. The Floral Rainbow Feather gives 30% damage amplification to Irisalis and her clones, and its tier-two per-clone bonus stacks up to three times.

Irisalis is a Grass-type ranged DPS in Aniimo. She deals damage from a distance, and building her well comes down to one problem: she has high EP requirements, and her kit is built around making skills free.

Dance Power is how she does that. You stack it by landing skill hits. Once you have enough, a skill costs nothing and your Focus Beam reaches further. Her stats, her gear and her teammates are all there to keep that loop running.

This page covers the stacking rules, the awakening order, the Floral Rainbow Feather and the teammates who keep her EP topped up.

Irisalis is a ranged Grass DPS that builds Dance Power with every skill hit.

How Dance Power stacks work

Irisal is a Grass-element Aniimo in the DPS role, and its trait grants 1 point of Dance Power each time one of its skills deals damage. The count goes by hits, not targets. A skill that strikes a whole group gives you the same single point as one that hits a lone enemy. Spreading damage across a pack does nothing extra for your stacks. What matters is how often your skills connect.

At 24 points, the next skill costs no EP. That is the payoff for a creature with high EP requirements. Irisalis also has a passive ability that reduces EP consumption, so between the passive and the free cast at 24, much of her kit exists to stop her running dry.

Your clones help too. Each volley from an Irisalis (Bloom Cluster) clone grants one Dance Power, so keeping clones out and firing builds stacks while you keep casting.

24

Dance Power for a free skill

At 24 points the next skill costs no EP, which matters because Irisalis has high EP requirements.

Cashing in with Focus Beam

Once Irisalis builds enough charge (Dance Petal stacks), she can fire an empowered Focus Beam. Casting a zero-cost Focus Beam at 24 Dance of Power stacks also increases its attack range.

That makes the rhythm simple. Land hits, let the clones add their volleys, reach 24, then spend the free cast on Focus Beam so you get the extra range and pay no EP for it. For a ranged DPS, more reach means you can hit from further away and stay out of trouble while you do it.

Irisalis stats: what to awaken first

For Capability Awakening, prioritise Attack, then Regen, then HP. Attack comes first because she is a damage dealer. HP is the lowest of the three and sits third.

Regen ranks above HP for a specific reason: her playstyle repeatedly spams one skill. With high EP requirements and a loop built on casting the same skill again and again, recovery keeps her going between free casts. How the awakening system itself works has its own guide on this site; for Irisalis, all you need is the order.

Irisalis Capability Awakening priority
  1. AttackFirst priority for a damage dealer.
  2. RegenSecond. Her playstyle spams one skill over and over.
  3. HPThird and lowest of the three.

Floral Rainbow Feather

The Floral Rainbow Feather adds 30% damage amplification. It applies to Irisalis and to her summoned clones, so each clone deals 30% more damage.

At tier two, the per-clone bonus stacks up to three times. Clones already feed her Dance Power with every volley, so the Feather makes them a bigger share of her damage while they help build her stacks.

Irisalis teammates

Pick teammates who solve her EP problem. Leafy is a top-priority teammate, supporting the team with Grass and EP support. Somni Wing is used in Irisalis teams for resource management through Eternal Lightwave.

The rotation opens with Turbo, whose four basic attacks apply its damage and break buff before Irisalis starts working. The full Grass team, including the rest of the lineup, has its own guide on this site.

Where to start

Build Irisalis around reaching 24 Dance Power as often as you can. Awaken Attack, then Regen, then HP. Equip the Floral Rainbow Feather so her clones hit harder, and bring Leafy and Somni Wing to handle her EP while Turbo opens the rotation.
