Prismana eggs from RV trips: dispatch and inheritance
Send a Prismana on an RV trip and the egg it brings back can hatch another Prismana of the same species. Here is what a trip egg inherits, and what it never changes.
The short version
- Eggs from RV trips always match the family or evolution line of the Aniimo you sent, so you choose the egg by choosing who goes.
- A trip egg has a chance to inherit the Prismana form and any mutations of the Aniimo that went out, Sparkling included.
- Sending a Prismana Aniimo raises the chance of getting a Prismana egg back, which makes repeat trips a slow, steady way to farm Prismana.
- Prismana eggs from trips come at more advanced levels; at first a travel spirit tends to return a Mysterious Egg or an egg of its own species.
- Submitting a Prismana at an RV park also gives an egg that may hatch a Prismana.
If you want a Prismana egg in Aniimo, the most reliable place to look is your RV. Homestead RV passive dispatches have a chance to return Aniimo eggs with the Prismana trait, and the Aniimo you send out decides almost everything about what comes back.
The rule that makes this useful is simple. A trip egg is tied to the Aniimo that went on the trip. It hatches into the same family, and it can carry over that Aniimo's form and mutations. Send a Prismana, and you are fishing for another one.
This page covers how dispatch decides what an egg will be and how to use that to farm Prismana. The RV itself, its upgrades and its parks have their own guide, as do the other ways of getting eggs, so they get a sentence here and no more.
How to get Prismana eggs in Aniimo from RV trips
RV expeditions are passive. You deploy an Aniimo as a travel spirit, it goes off on its trip, and it can return with an egg. That egg can be a Mysterious Egg or an egg of the travelling Aniimo's own species, and at more advanced levels the trip can return a Prismana egg.
So Prismana eggs are not an opening reward. They are something RV trips grow into. Prismon eggs also show up among the passive rewards RV expeditions can give.
There is a second route through the same system. The RV park produces eggs, and submitting a Prismana there gives you an egg that may hatch a Prismana. The RV guide covers the parks themselves; for this page, what matters is that both routes reward you for owning a Prismana already.
What a trip egg always inherits
Family is guaranteed. Eggs returned from expeditions always match the family or evolution line of the deployed Aniimo. You never send one creature out and get an unrelated one back.
Species is likely but not promised. An egg from an RV trip hatches into a member of the same family and most likely the same species. Expect a relative at worst, and usually the creature you sent.
That makes dispatch a targeting tool. If you want eggs of a particular line, put a member of that line on the trip. Fulmintis is a good example: it can be obtained from eggs, and farming RV trips is one of the ways to do it.
Prismana form and mutations: a chance, not a guarantee
Beyond family, a trip egg has a chance to inherit the form and mutations of the parent Aniimo. That covers both things players chase. Prismana form can carry over, and so can Sparkling mutations.
The key word is chance. A Prismana or Sparkling creature sent on an expedition has a chance to return an egg of the same variant, not a certainty. Some trips will come back with an ordinary egg of the right family, and that is normal.
What you control is the odds. Sending a Prismana Aniimo raises the chance of a Prismana egg. A plain Aniimo can still bring one back from a passive dispatch, but a Prismana on the trip is the better bet every time.
Farming Prismana with repeat trips
Put those rules together and you get a loop. Sending a Prismana Aniimo on RV trips can yield another Prismana of the same species, so one Prismana becomes a way to get more of them over time.
The practical approach is patience rather than tricks. Keep your Prismana on the road, collect what comes back, and hatch it. Family is locked in, species is probably the same, and each trip is another roll at the Prismana form.
If you care about Sparkling mutations too, the same logic holds. Send the creature that already has what you want, because inheritance can only pass on what the travelling Aniimo carries.
A Prismana Aniimo
- Raises the chance of a Prismana egg
- Can yield another Prismana of the same species
- Egg always matches its family or evolution line
A regular Aniimo
- Can return a Mysterious Egg or an egg of its own species
- Can return a Prismana egg at more advanced levels
- Egg always matches its family or evolution line
Where to start
If you own a Prismana, keep it on RV trips. Each egg it brings back belongs to its family, probably its species, and has a better chance of being Prismana than anything a plain Aniimo returns. Hatch what comes back and keep sending it out.
