Raising Homeland work skills: evolution and Prismana

Evolving to Nova lifts work skills to level 3; only Prismana and legendaries reach level 4. Here is which Aniimo to keep for your Homeland crew.

The short version

  1. Evolving a regular Aniimo from Lumin to Nova stage raises its home abilities to level 3, so evolved Aniimo make better Homeland workers.
  2. Prismana Aniimo and legendaries are the only Aniimo whose work skills reach level 4.
  3. Placing Prismana Aniimo in the homestead is the only way to raise the number of furniture tickets you can get.
  4. Duplicate copies of the same Aniimo, duplicate Prismana included, can work in the Homeland at the same time.
  5. Auto-releasing catches without reviewing them can throw away weather forms, evolutions and forms you need for split evolutions and the homestead.

Every Aniimo you catch can do a job in your Homeland, but they do not all do it equally well. Work skills have levels, and which level an Aniimo can reach depends on what it is: a regular Aniimo, an evolved one, a Prismana or a legendary.

That changes what is worth keeping. A second copy of something you already own, or a Lumin stage creature you were about to ignore, can be a better worker than it looks. This page covers which Aniimo climb highest and why you should think twice before releasing anything.

Aniimo evolution raises work skills to level 3

Evolved Aniimo make better Homeland workers. The concrete step is the jump from Lumin to Nova stage: evolving a regular Aniimo that far raises its home abilities to level 3.

So evolution is not only about battle. If a creature is going to live in your Homeland, getting it to Nova is the cheapest way to make it a more useful worker. For a regular Aniimo, level 3 is the ceiling the evolution gets you to.

Aniimo Prismana and legendaries reach level 4

Level 4 is reserved. Prismana Aniimo and legendaries are the only Aniimo whose work skills reach it, which makes Prismana some of the strongest Homeland workers you can field.

They matter for tickets too. Aniimo you place in the homestead passively generate furniture tickets, and placing Prismana there is the only way to raise the number of tickets you can obtain. Aniimo placed in the Homeland's upper living area also passively generate Bud Tickets. The Homeland article covers how that production works; the point here is that a Prismana in residence does something no regular Aniimo can.

If you want a named example of a strong specialist, Somniwing is a strong Homeland Leisure worker with three tier-four Homeland perks.

Homeland work skill ceilings
  1. Lumin stageA regular Aniimo before it evolves. Its home abilities sit below level 3.
  2. Nova stageEvolving a regular Aniimo from Lumin to Nova raises its home abilities to level 3.
  3. Prismana and legendariesThe only Aniimo whose work skills reach level 4.

Duplicates are workers, not clutter

Catching the same Aniimo twice is not wasted effort. Duplicate copies of the same species can work in the Homeland at the same time, and you can deploy several of them to the homestead at once.

That includes duplicate Prismana. Since Prismana are the only route to more furniture tickets and one of only two kinds of Aniimo that reach level 4 work skills, a spare Prismana is worth putting straight to work rather than releasing.

Review before you auto-release

Auto-release is the easiest way to lose a good worker without noticing. Releasing catches without reviewing them can discard special forms, such as weather forms, along with evolutions and forms you need for split evolutions and for the homestead.

Given everything above, that is a real cost. The creature you would have evolved to Nova, the duplicate that could have been working alongside the first, the Prismana that would have raised your ticket count: all of them can go out with the rest of the catch if you never look.

Where to start

Evolve the Aniimo you put to work to Nova, give your best Homeland slots to Prismana and legendaries, and keep your duplicates working instead of releasing them. Check your catches before auto-release takes anything you meant to keep.
