Guides › Walking with Irisalis event: dates, shop and chapters
How do you find Irisalis?
Tracking Irisalis with the crafted event item teleports the player to the rift vein where she appears, in the Sea of Flowers.
The track option only works once you have crafted the event's legendary Anipod from Iris Petals. Crafting it makes a large rift portal appear at the Sea of Flowers. Tracking then skips the walk and drops you straight at the rift vein, so you never have to search the map for her.
Irisalis is not a wild spawn you can stumble on. She is the reward of the Walking with Irisalis Legendary Journey, and she is only obtainable for a limited time during Season 1. The event runs for 75 days, from September 25th until December 10th.
Getting the event open
You need player level 20 and the Student 1 rank, which puts Irisalis within reach early in the game. The Faded Rainbow fight has the same level 20 requirement. Walking with Irisalis also unlocks only after you finish the Trail of the Butterfly Shadows event.
To find it, open the Events menu, pick the gamepad icon tab at the bottom left, and look under Legendary Journey, the second option. Irisalis is listed directly above the Prismana event. Its chapters unlock on a weekly rotation once the event begins, so you cannot rush the whole thing in one sitting.
Crafting the Anipod and the catch
Spend your Iris Petals on the legendary Anipod before you touch the event shop. Some shop items, such as Glimmering Driftshadow, cannot be bought until the Anipod is crafted anyway, and Petals spent there first slow down the one craft that leads you to Irisalis. Once that Anipod is done, more Petals go toward a second legendary Anipod, Wind Chaser's Departure.
At the rift, you use the legendary Anipod during the soothe interaction to capture her. Forging Twine inside her rift space also unlocks the blessing gifts section.
This is different from the closed beta. In the third beta, Irisalis came from a gacha that cost Glimmer, with legendary pity somewhere around 4,500 to 6,000 Glimmer. That system was replaced by the Petal craft.
Not settled: The Irisalis Anipod and Wind Chaser's Departure are listed under overlapping names, and the 49 Iris Petal cost is tied to the Windchase Departure Anapod. Which of the two crafts the 49 Petals apply to is not settled.
